Meet the artist

I am a fine artist living on the south coast of the UK and am never far away from the wild nature that inspires me. Growing up and living in an area immersed in history, it didn’t take long before the local mythical legends and folklore took hold of my imagination and found it’s way onto paper.

I love the whole process of creating art, from concept to choosing the right paper, pencils, ink, brushes and software. For me, the right choice of material all form a ritual of creation and are as just as impactful as the topic. I could talk for hours on different papers and the results they each produce!

Telling stories through my art is what animates me and I want the viewer wondering what’s going to happen next or to just get lost in the realm that I have created. Feeding imagination and bringing to life an idea is very much my intent and is not age specific. I think as humans we thrive on the magic of the whimsical, the mysterious and the outrageous.
